G’day Mate…

Pale Moon Tackle started with a simple idea — fishing should slow you down, not rush you.

Some of the best sessions happen late in the day. The water goes quiet, the light softens, and every cast feels a little more important. It’s not always about numbers or size. Sometimes it’s just about being there.

I’m an Aussie who’s always been drawn to the outdoors — creeks, bush tracks, quiet water and anywhere reception disappears. I didn’t get into fishing to fill a freezer. I got into it because it was one of the few things that made me stop thinking about everything else for a while.

Standing beside the water, watching the light change, listening to cicadas and waiting for a surface take has a way of quieting your own thoughts. Some days you catch fish. Some days you don’t. Strangely, both days are still good ones.

Pale Moon Tackle grew out of that.

I wanted to offer gear suited to those moments — tackle that earns a place in your box because you trust it, not because the packaging shouted the loudest at the tackle shop.

Everything we carry is carefully chosen with Australian conditions in mind: surface fishing at dusk, shaded banks, still water and patient retrieves. No hype, no gimmicks, and no promises that every cast will be the one (although it occasionally is).

Fishing isn’t just a result.

It’s a feeling.

And that’s what Pale Moon is built around.
