CREEK SNEAK
When fish won’t touch larger surface lures.
The Creek Sneak is a 42 mm floating finesse topwater frog designed for narrow waterways and reed-lined banks. With a compact profile and gentle presentation, it imitates a small frog sitting or struggling on the surface and excels when fish are wary or easily spooked.
This is a subtle lure — restraint produces the strike.
Why It Works
In tight creeks and pressured water, fish often ignore larger or louder surface presentations. Instead, they respond to small, natural prey that appears vulnerable.
The Creek Sneak targets those fish.
Its quiet surface presence and small movements imitate a struggling frog without alarming nearby predators. Allowing the lure to remain still gives fish time to approach and commit.
Strikes are often subtle but decisive.
Designed For Structure
Work it along:
• reed lines
• narrow creeks
• shaded banks
• small pools
• overhanging vegetation
• quiet shoreline edges
The floating body allows the lure to sit naturally beside cover while remaining visible from below.
Action & Retrieve
The Creek Sneak is designed to be worked with minimal movement.
How to fish it:
Cast quietly beside cover
Allow the lure to sit still
Apply very small movements
Pause frequently
Repeat slowly
Strikes commonly occur:
• while the lure is stationary
• after small movements
• beside tight cover
Avoid overworking the lure — subtle action is key.
Fishing Notes
Ideal when larger surface lures spook fish. Allow the lure to sit before moving and use only small movements to imitate a struggling frog.
Strikes are often subtle but decisive.
Recommended Leader: 10–14 lb fluorocarbon
Specifications
Length: 42 mm
Type: Finesse Floating Topwater Frog
Buoyancy: Floating
Running Depth: Surface
Designed For: Narrow water and reed lines
Target Species: Australian Bass, Saratoga, Estuary Perch
Please note: Colours may vary slightly between lures.
